Cheryl Cutlip

CHERYL CUTLIP- FOUNDER OF PROJECT DANCE

As the founder of Project Dance, Cheryl's calling to make a difference in the artistic fiber of our nation has led her to produce performance events in our major arts hubs throughout the world including New York City's Times Square and Los Angeles', Hollywood and Highland and Sydney Australia's, Circular Quay. Dance Spirit has named the New York event as one of the top ten dance events in New York City.

Cheryl also oversees the operation of the new Project Dance Studio located in Times Square where dancers are trained in excellence and integrity. “Art should reflect the beauty of our Maker and Project Dance is committed to the art form of dance and its significance in society as a vital part of the human experience.”

Cheryl is also a Radio City Rockette and along with kicking on the great stage for the past 15 years her duties at Radio City have included dance captain; assistant choreographer for the Radio City Christmas Spectacular; spokesperson for nationally televised appearances including one-on-one interviews with Katie Couric, Diane Sawyer, and Larry King; co-choreographer for Kick Into Fitness (the official Rockette Workout); and choreographer for Christmas Across America promotional tours. Other career credits include the Broadway National Tour of “Crazy For You”, European Tour of “42 nd Street”, and the Broadway benefit to the stars of “Mack and Mable”, starring Jerry Herman and Donna McKechnie.

 Ron Cutlip

RON CUTLIP- PRESIDENT OF PROJECT DANCE

Ron Cutlip is the owner of Cutlip Golf Design, a golf course architecture firm in New York City. Recent projects include the re-design of Ramsey Golf and Country Club, High Mountain Country Club, and Rivervale Country Club. He has also designed specialized projects for private estates and city roof tops and recently completed the landscape architecture for Victory Junction, the official charity of NASCAR. Ron is a very active supporter of Project Dance and is a key component to each and every Project Dance event. Ron also serves the community through ministering God's word each week at Saint Paul's House in New York City.

Laura Hatch

LARA BIANCA PILCHER- PROJECT DANCE SYDNEY EVENT COORDINATOR

Lara Pilcher was a key component in coordinating Project Dance's very first event overseas- Project Dance Sydney! Currently residing in Australia, Lara plays very active roles in uniting dancers and dance companies across her country.

Sam Sinns

SAM SINNS- PUBLIC RELATIONS AND STAGE MANAGER

Sam Sinns has toured with Disney's Beauty and the Beast and West Side Story and he also danced in The Radio City Christmas Spectacular. His regional theater credits include Houston's TUTS, Pittsburgh CLO, North Carolina Theater, North Shore Music Theater, and the Ordwav in St. Paul, MN. Sam currently resides in Orlando, FL with his new wife Amy, where he dances at Disneyworld. Sam is also proud to serve on the board of The Project Dance Foundation. 

 

KATHERINE GANT-PROJECT DANCE ATLANTA EVENT COORDINATOR

Katherine received her dance training in Memphis, Tennessee under the direction of Pat Gillispie at Classical Ballet Memphis. Trained in the RAD syllabus, Katherine graduated with honors, RAD’s highest mark. During her years at Classical Ballet Memphis Katherine performed many leading roles and was Assistant to the Artistic Director. She was also performed as a guest with Yuma Ballet Theatre as Cinderella in Thom Clower’s “Cinderella.” In 2002, Katherine joined Ad Deum Dance Company as an Apprentice and was promoted to Company Member later that year. While with Ad Deum, she performed works by Steve Rooks (formerly principal dancer with Martha Graham Company) and performed at Project Dance in New York City. She then went on to dance with Ballet Magnificat! under the direction of Kathy Thibodeaux. Since moving to Atlanta in 2005, Katherine has continued to teach and dance throughout Atlanta metro area, including being a founding member of the Atlanta Christian Dance Community. Katherine and her husband David have two children Elizabeth and Caleb.

 Larry Auton

LARRY AUTON- COMPUTER CONSULTANT

After working nearly twenty years in Computer Science research for Bell Labs, in 2002, Larry made the leap into the securities industry. Though he feels like he has "moved to a different planet," he's having a great time!

Larry helps Project Dance by managing its computing infrastructure. He also takes hundreds of pictures a year at our rehearsals and events.
