Dear Friends of Project Dance,

For nearly three decades, Project Dance Foundation has existed because of people like you—individuals who believe in the power of the arts to shape lives, strengthen communities, and inspire hope.

At the heart of Project Dance is a simple but profound belief: when dancers are nurtured with integrity, access, and excellence, they become powerful contributors to the world around them. Through training, education, and performance, we strive to develop not only skilled artists, but confident, compassionate humans who lead with purpose.

Today, we invite you to partner with us in sustaining and strengthening the collective work of Project Dance Foundation across all of our program areas.

One Mission. Lasting Impact. Lives Changed.

Your generosity supports a vibrant ecosystem of programs that meet dancers and families where they are—locally, nationally, and globally.

PROJECT DANCE EVENTS, our global outreach initiative, brings dancers together in cities around the world for three-day immersive experiences that culminate in open-air performances. These events remind us that dance is a universal language—one that can uplift streets, unify cultures, and offer beauty and hope in public spaces.

THE CAROLINA SNOWBELLES provides full-scholarship precision dance training to young dancers ages nine and up in the High Country. These dancers rehearse weekly, perform throughout the region, and learn discipline, teamwork, leadership, and confidence in an environment rooted in mentorship and excellence. For many, Snowbelles is their first experience of being seen, challenged, and fully supported as artists.

CAMP OF THE ARTS, expands our mission to serve children from Kindergarten through 12th grade with a multi-disciplinary summer arts experience. This program meets a critical need in our community by offering accessible, high-quality instruction in dance, music, theatre, visual art, and more—while providing scholarships so that financial barriers never limit participation. Camp of the Arts is not just childcare or enrichment; it is a place where creativity is cultivated, curiosity is celebrated, and young people discover new possibilities within themselves.

Finally, the PROJECT DANCE FOUNDATION BUILDING in Boone, North Carolina represents our long-term commitment to stability, growth, and service. Purchased in 2024 through extraordinary generosity, this facility allows our programs to flourish under one roof. As we navigate the first year of ownership and begin planning a focused capital campaign, donor support is essential to ensuring the building remains a strong, sustainable home for generations of artists to come.

Why Your Gift Matters Now

Project Dance Foundation is seeking support for our service programs and building operations. Your contribution directly impacts:

  • Scholarship access for young dancers and campers

  • Professional instruction and high-quality programming

  • Community partnerships with local arts organizations

  • The long-term sustainability of our new facility

When you give to Project Dance Foundation, you are not funding a single class or event—you are investing in a connected mission that reaches children, teens, emerging artists, and communities both near and far.

We are deeply grateful for your belief in this work. With your continued support, we can nurture creativity, build community, and ensure that dance remains a force for good—rooted in integrity, access, and hope.

With sincere gratitude,

The Project Dance Foundation
